“AUTISM. WORLD OF OPPORTUNITIES”

About the Conference

The Third International Conference “Autism. The World of Opportunities” of Bolat Utemuratov Foundation is an opportunity to improve knowledge on autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and share information on the best practices of work with children and families.

The Сonference is intended for general public and decision-making researchers, practicians — teachers and educators, clinical specialists and therapists, behavioral analysts, health care workers, parents and representatives of children with ASD.

The main objective of the Conference is to exchange information on global trends, achievements, problems and opportunities, best international and local practices, innovations and efficient models of work with children and families, cooperation among researchers, teachers, clinicians and families.

In 2016 and 2017, the Fund successfully held the First and Second International Conferences “Autism. The World of Opportunities” covering the state of autism issues in general, innovative approaches, methods and practical tools of diagnostics and intervention, specifically. Information on recent researches into genetic factors of risk of autism, nutrition and control of undesirable behavior was also provided.

The list of main speakers consists of the world-known researchers, authors of methods and institutes, and includes Dr. William Partington’s Behavior Analysts (USA), A.J. Drexel Autism Institute (USA), Center for Autism Research & Treatment, University of California (USA), Oregon Medical School (USA), Marcus Autism Center (USA), Kasari Lab, University of California (USA), The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Federal Resource Center for Complex Support of Children with ASD of the Moscow State Psychological and Pedagogical University (Russia) and many others.

This year, the Conference will provide information on the latest achievements of science and technology in the support of children with ASD and their families, and will widely present the experience of the Russian, Kazakhstan and Central Asian organization.
